Here we go!! Arizona Tucson Mission

Everyone has heard our story of getting called to the Arizona Tucson Mission so I won’t belabor the story.

Plus, it’s all a blur to me anyway. So forgive my straight-to-the-point format.

EB and I were called to be Mission President and Wife, (MP and MPW), officially last November and then got our call in December (we opened it on our 27th wedding anniversary) to the Arizona Tucson Mission! Arrival date: July 1, 2017.

We were all thrilled to say the least! Our 4 children (Babups, Eboo, Presto, and JuBean) who are coming with us, were jumping up and down screaming with relief and joy!!

We love Arizona, the dry heat, the Southwest, and being in the United States of America. SWEET!!

In fact, my secret top place I wanted to go…my numero uno… was TUCSON!! There were 11 places in the United States that were Spanish speaking and opening up, and 45 or so outside of the U.S.  They are all wonderful places with amazing loving people and diverse experiences and culture, but I just wanted simple, sunny, Tucson.

Why? I don’t really know why because I’ve never been there.

Maybe calling to me was the warm winters, no earthquakes or hurricanes, and close proximity for children and future grandchildren to visit. Maybe.

Whatever it really was, we are just so happy to be “Tucsonan’s” for the next three years.
