Blue Hairnet Glory

Here I am in all my blue hairnet glory, September 20, 2010. All ready for surgery to blast a torturous foe, an 11 mm by 6 mm kidney stone, from out of my body. The surgery lasted only about an hour and a half, but hey, I don’t remember a thing. I’m just grateful for modern medicine and technology that saved me from the greatest pain I’ve ever experienced. Yes, you heard that from a Mom that has delivered 7 babies and 5 of them naturally. Kidney stones that cannot pass on their own, like this one, win the prize of pain and anguish over anything I’ve ever experienced. I want to start crying right now just thinking about it.
